$1 Million Bail Bond for Former Bet On Sports CEO
David Carruthers, the former chief executive officer of Bet On Sports might be allowed to be released on one million dollar bail bond.
Carruthers, a British national had entered a deal with the U.S government to release him on bail and on the condition that he will be electronically tagged while living in St. Louis till his illegal gambling trial.
Mr. Carruthers, is one of the eight executives of Bet On Sports that had entered a not guilty in the federal hearing last Monday.
After the arrest, Mr. Carruthers was sacked by the company, the analysts say that it was the move of Bet On Sports to insist that it had not received the contentious injunction order that was served to Mr. Carruthers.
The injunction order tells the Bet On Sports to refund the money to its customers.
Bet On Sports took one billion dollars in bets last year.
Catherine Hanaway, Missouri's district attorney and a conservative that lead the Missouri support group of George Bush, targets the gaming company.
Another big blow to Bet On Sports is the report over the weekend that Bet On Sports had shared offices with Safe Deposit Sports known linked to New York's Bonnano mafia family.
